On the issue of methodological approaches to foreign language teaching

The present article treats different methodological approaches to foreign language teaching in high school. Сharacteristic features of this or that method, its advantages and the ways of influence contributing to successful mastering of language skills, and their usage in terms of foreign language communication have been analyzed.
