On the issue of different approaches to the definition of environmental safety

This article is devoted to the consideration of various approaches to the doctrinal and official (normative) definition of environmental safety in the Russian Federation. Based on the analytical review, the authors come to the conclusion about the need for further scientific development of the definition of "environmental safety" and offer their own conceptual approach to its definition.
