The article deals with the prospects for further development of public procurement exemplified be the Republic of Buryatia accordingly the key principles of 44-FZ Federal Act. The authors analyze local and government procurements in 2017 and find out the most typical lawbreaking. They study the measures of improvement and optimization of procurement structure, terms and sequence of their realization.
