The development tourism sector in the region

The article discusses the problems and prospects of development of tourist and recrea-tional complex of the Republic of Buryatia, including special economic zone, zone of fa-vorable economic, tourism and recreation cluster. On the basis of analysis of tourism and recreation in the region identified areas of development: organizational development of existing tourist and recreational quasi-clusters of clusters towards diversification of the tourist product based on the marketing approach, improving the efficiency of the residents of special economic zone of tourist-recreational type.
