In this article relevance of the development of the creative abilities of junior schoolchildren is substantiated. The necessity of using collective creative activity for developing the creative potential of students is considered, the main indicators of the level of the formation of creative abilities are presented. The article can be useful for teachers of primary education and students of pedagogical universities.
