To the question on the implementation of some of the legislation of the Russian Federation about local self-government

The article analyzes the implementation of the amendments to the Federal Law «On general principles of the organization of local self-government in the Russian Federation» proposed by the legislator in May 2014. These changes were called «municipal reform» the Author concludes that the subjects of the Russian Federation ambiguous interpret these changes. Recommendations on improvement of legal regulation of federal and regional legislation for more effective development of local self-government are Proposed.
