The article deals with the issue of repatriation in 1921 of Polish prisoners of war who served in the 5th Polish infantry division and took part in the Civil War on the side of the Kolchak army. The author explores in what industries the prisoners were employed during their stay in Siberia, what was the attitude of Soviet power towards them, how the preparation for repatriation went and why some prisoners chose not to leave Soviet Russia.
