To the question of sanctions and restriction in international law

In this article different features, by which such definitions as sanctions, restriction and restrictive measures are distinguished in relation to their application in international law, are considered. The article analyzes different approaches of scholars to understanding the structure and content of these concepts. The elements and attributes that are considered in the application of sanctions are defined, the essence of which is studied on historical examples.
