To the issue of the system of tactical tasks in investigating the smuggling of timber and timber products and possible means of solving them in various investigative situations

The article considers the tactical tasks of investigation as one of the structural elements of a specific forensic methodology for investigating the smuggling of timber and timber products; a system of tactical tasks for investigating this type of crime is presented, including general (basic), intermediate and optional tactical tasks. Possible algorithms of procedural actions aimed at solving tactical tasks caused by the investigative situation are also proposed.
