Concerning social adaptation of Chinese students in Russian universities

The article deals with social adaptation of Chinese students in Russian universities. The concept of 'social adaptation of foreign students' is described. The paper presents results of the survey of Chinese students, conducted in universities members of the Association of Technical Universities of Russia and China, aimed at the study of Chinese students' satisfaction with organization of social and living conditions in the Russian universities. The authors suggest to develop a comprehensive program of social adaptation at the stage of the first year of training of Chinese students, compile and include the "Social Adaptation" module into the educational program in order to mitigate some aspects of adaptation.
