To question of social transformations: education in society of future in conceptions of predecessors of Russian social democracy

The article examines the fundamental approaches of the representatives of the left-wing radicalism in the 70-80s of the XIX century (M.A. Bakunin, P.A. Kropotkin, P.N. Tkachev) to education in the future society, analyzes their significance for further social development, explores the conformity of these views to the stated objectives of transforming the country, determines the proximity of the positions of these authors with the current trends in education.
