The article analyzes modern teaching methods - the only way to meet the requirements of modernity. Modern teaching methods help to build or develop a productive understanding of fundamental sciences and technologies. One of the most important characteristics of modern methods of teaching fundamental sciences and technologies is that they are student-oriented. They are aimed at young people when used or applied during classroom and laboratory classes, or lectures. The teacher acts only as a guide, and the entire learning process involves students, who largely act as the dominant persons in the interaction in the audience.
