On the Question of the Means and Methods of Verbalizing the Non-Verbal Actions of Characters in Chingiz Aitmatov’s Story “The Red Apple”

This article examines the nonverbal means of character formation in Ch. Aitmatov's short story "The Red Apple." Using the story as a basis, it analyzes the means and methods of verbalizing the nonverbal behavior of characters in Ch. T. Aitmatov's works. The linguistic and nonverbal means used by the author to create a character's image create a system of artistic meanings that can be interpreted as the author's concept. The goal of verbalizing nonverbal means in a literary text is to fully reveal the character's image, that is, to describe their psychological characteristics and emotional state.
