On the means of foreign language teaching

As all activities, reading is always purposeful: it is aimed at extracting the information contained in the written speech - the text. The information here refers to the content of the text. The text is an extended speech, and as the information becomes available, the reader processes it. It could be said that the understanding of the text was based on the understanding of single facts, the establishment of a link between them and their hierarchy, and on that basis, the integration of them into a catchy whole.
