Considering the structure of humourous act

This paper considered sources of humorous (comic) effect in a non-trivial way, without attachment to a specific Speech Genre, as general regularities of compiling a humorous wording, irrespective of its genre specifics, the type of humor (situation-referred or linguistic one), a format and so on, being based on a frame-approach. A humorous act (as a unit under consideration) is determined as opposition of two mental structures, a starting frame and a humorous one. This study considered one aspect of structure description of a humorous act being related to its semantics, namely the structure and informative contents of the starting frame, with a repertoire of its slots and relations among them. This fragment may present a part of description of a multi-parameter lingual and cognitive model of humour.
