To the question of the essence of investment design

The article presents an analysis of alternative interpretations of the essence of investment projects. The characteristic features of investment projects have been formulated, among which are: signs of “changes” in the “budget”, “limitations of the required resources”, “complexity”, and “delineation”. The generalization of different approaches allowed to formulate the author's interpretation of the investment project, which takes into account the profitability, terms, volumes and other parameters of the economic feasibility of capital investments.
