To the problem of tanatogenesis

The article is devoted to an importance of researches in thanatology. The value of thanatological analysis for pathology, forensic medicine and clinical practice is shown by the examples of different variants of thanatogenesis. Based on literature data and own results the author give a number of perspective (to his opinion) directions of researches in this area, in particular concerning the identification of diagnostic markers needed to determine the cause of death.
