On the Theoretical Justification of the Relationship between the Concept of the Social State and the Socio-Economic Development of the State

The tasks of maintaining sustainable socio-economic development of the country are a key function of public administration, especially during periods of political and economic instability. The formation of the institutional foundations of socio-economic policy, which involves building the structure and system of state institutions in the areas of social regulation and economic growth, requires a systematic approach and a clear ideological base that excludes the randomness of implementation. This article reveals the basic principles of the concept of a welfare state, which has gained recognition in a number of democratic countries with a developed legal system. The paper also analyzes the interdependence of this concept and modern challenges in the field of socio-economic regulation, justifies their organic connection in the context of public policy.
