On the question of inflorescence type of flax Linum usitatissimum L.

The made researches have shown that flax inflorescence belongs to the cymose inflorescence. The classification of cymose types was developed to formalize the description of the structural diversity of cymose inflorescences that may occur in flax in different environmental conditions. The practical use of the proposed classification of cymose types of flax inflorescence allows determining the level of complexity of cymose inflorescence that is relevant for the morphological description of the different varieties or for studying the effect of different factors on the growth and development of flax.
