Rheumatic involvement of the hip, which is remarkable for severe morphologic and functional changes, is one of the most frequent indications for endoprosthetics. Many tactical-and-technical approaches and details of such interventions still remain uncertain. In particular, the problem of selecting the most rational technique for fixation of endoprosthesis components is still debatable. The present report is based on the analysis of 8 cases of total cementless, bilateral including, endoprosthetics of the hips for rheumatic arthrosis with positive outcomes in the early and average periods. It is an attempt to substantiate the advantages of primary cementless prosthetics in the patients considered.
