On the issue of traditional and non-traditional means of detection and investigation of acquisitive and violent crimes

The article deals with the discussion of traditional means of identifying individuals who have committed acquisitive and violent crimes in non-obvious circumstances, such as robberies and armed robberies, based on the analysis of theoretical sources and forensic investigation practice; the analysis of «hotspots» of these crimes committed on the territory of Krasnoyarsk was carried out, and recommendations on the use of these data in the activities of law enforcement officers were developed; other than the traditionally used means of searching for a criminal are proposed.
