The impact of court decisions on denomination of crimes infringing on security

Purpose: The study aims to analyze the elements of crimes against the security, as well as the impact that court decisions have on denomination of crimes of banditry, robbery and organization of an illegal armed group categorized under the articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Methodology: Legalistic approach was used. Results: The article is devoted to the study of the impact of decisions of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation and the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation on denomination of a number of crimes infringing on public safety - banditry, armed robbery and the organization of an illegal armed group. The problems of identifying the signs of extremist crimes have become particularly relevant in Russia in recent years. This created the need for search for the approaches to resolving issues arising from the need to denominate these crimes. The theoretical and practical significance of this study derives from the need for solving complex problems associated with determining the crime of banditry. Novelty/originalty/value: The article has a due degree of scientific value, as it is dedicated to an important and significant topic defined by public safety.
