Concerning reopening of criminal proceeding in view of newly discovered facts in the context of conceptual trends of development of the criminal procedural law

The article considers various opinions of scientists concerning the allowability of deterioration of conditions of a convicted person (or an acquitted person) in events of reopening of a case in view of newly discovered facts. The author states an original interpretation of this issue from the perspective of the general conceptual trends of development of the criminal procedural law regulations.
