The legislative power contains the expression of the opinion and the will of the people; it is a kind of legal connection between the law and the will of the people. The question arises, does the legislature always carry out its activities in accordance with the interests of the people, given that there are a variety of social groups with different opinions and interests in society? Based on this issue, the article is devoted to the competence of the legislative power, its role in the system of separation of powers.
