To the issue of the protection of property rights in the practice of the European Court of Human Rights

The article analyzes various aspects of the right to respect for one's property in the context of the current legal positions of the European Court of Human Rights. The concept of the right to respect for one's property (protection of property) is provided for in Article 1 of Protocol 1 of the European Convention. It substantiates a broad approach to the need to develop and adopt fair and modern legal regulation of the right to respect for one's property (protection of property) and to secure additional guarantees for the inviolability of property.
