On the Importance of Completeness and Quality of Recording the Circumstances of a Traffic Accident in the Investigation of Criminal Cases Provided for in Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation

The article is devoted to the study of the role of completeness and quality of recording the circumstances of a traffic accident (hereinafter referred to as an accident) in the investigation of criminal cases provided for in Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The influence of various factors determining the complexity of fixing the circumstances of an accident is considered and the need for an integrated approach to collecting and analyzing information at the scene is substantiated. Special attention is paid to the importance of compliance with procedural rules and the use of forensic methods to ensure the reliability and admissibility of the evidence obtained.
