zH nTr, «God's booth», in the ritual practice of Egypt during the Old Kingdom

The article deals with a sacred naos zH nTr (sH nTr), and its role in the funeral rites during the Old Kingdom. On the basis of investigation of inscriptions, wall paintings and reliefs from private tombs, it is possible to interpret zH nTr as a naos for transporting of cult statue. Closely connected with god Anubis, zH nTr had a great importance for performing offering rites.
