The problem of axiological potential of English idioms denoting deception in literary discourse

In the current paper we studied English idioms denoting deception in literary discourse. It is apparent that the considered idioms being reproductive units could be applied in literary discourse via axiological “trace" of the prototypical situation. These idioms imply reduced illocution. In other words axiological recourse of an idiom that is a conventional connection of intention with its verbal manifestation is likely used in the text.
