On the issue of auto technical expertise and its digitalization

The article Deals with the essence and features of conducting expert activities by state institutions and experts in the context of tasks implemented by the Institute of forensic expertise in the Russian Federation. The essential features of auto technical expertise and its purpose are highlighted. The article analyzes the specifics of expert research in the conditions of digitalization of the economic and legal space of the Russian Federation. Aspects of establishing the circumstances of an accident through the use of software and other information technology capabilities are presented.
