On the issue of digital technologies incorporation in the activities of the enterprises of the Russian manufacturing industry

The past year 2022 was marked by unprecedented sanctions against the Russian Federation and a decrease in the production index of manufacturing enterprises by 1.3% against this background. The article presents the analytical results of volume changes in production released by types of economic activity related to manufacturing activities and the degree of machine wear, determining the engineering and processing capabilities of enterprises to adapt to shifts in the outside environment. The article substantiates the necessity of solving the problems to product ramp-down and wear of machinery and equipment in the context of the state policy of import substitution, technological sovereignty and digital transformation of the Russian manufacturing industry on an innovative basis, through the incorporation of digital technologies in the activities of enterprises. Analytical data indicating a low level of digitalization of manufacturing enterprises and a significant required level of costs for this process are reflected. In conditions of a high degree of uncertainty, investing in digitalization projects is hindered by various factors, some of them are analyzed in the article.
