On the issue of use historical experience of training engineering personnel for research activity in modern conditions

The article provides of the results of logical-historical analysis experience in training highly qualified engineering personnel and development of research culture of professional engineers as a basis defining willingness to solve research problems. Based on the retrospective of the national training practice future engineer personnel to researchers activity of XIX-XX centuries the determinants of improving the quality of modern technical education are revealed.
