On the issue of invasive algae species spread in the plankton of Kuibyshev and Saratov reservoirs and their tributaries

This paper presents modern data on the presence of two invasive diatom species, Skeletonema subsalsum and Actinocyclus normanii , in the plankton communities of the Kuibyshev and Saratov Reservoirs and their tributaries, including the Usa, Chapaevka, and Bezenchuk Rivers. The distribution patterns of these species within algocenoses are also discussed.
