To the problem of studying civil servants’ self-attitude

The author revealed self-attitude as a component of human relationship system and as a component of self-consciousness. It was proved that self-attitude as a component of self-relation, on the one hand, provided processes of self-determination and self-realization, on the other hand, acted as their result. Selfattitude as a component of self-consciousness provided an assessment of its characteristics contributing and hindering self-determination and self-realization and at the same time emotional-value selfacceptance. The research showed the essential characteristics of self-attitude as phenomenon of personal achievement in the system of public service. The content of the self-attitude as a process was the experience of one's self, hidden and discovering personal forces; the content of self-attitude as a state was feeling as a carrier of some actual experience of personal (subjective) self-regulation of life and place among other people; the content of self-attitude as a property was feeling of self-esteem and self-worth. The functions of self-attitude as evaluation, value and regulatory were summarized. These functions implementation provided by self-attitude as a systemic-structural formation. Self-confidence, reflected self-attitude and self-incrimination made the content of self-attitude emotional and evaluative component. They provided to a subject of self-attitude assessment of effectiveness in achieving goals by comparing of personal achievements with social standards, successes and estimates of other people. Self-worth, selfacceptance, self-attachment, that provided to a subject of self-attitude generalized self-assessment, formed the content of emotional-valuable component. Openness, self-leadership and internal conflicts composed emotionally-regulatory component.
