The article raises the theoretical and practical aspects of law-making effectiveness. The place of law-making in the process of legal influence is shown. The ways of increasing the law-making efficiency of public authorities are highlighted. Special attention is paid to increasing the law-making effectiveness at the stage of detection a problem situation and its analysis.
