Concerning the public control over the activity of municipal executive organ

The article analyzes the public control over the activity of municipal executive organ, considers different forms of public control and the practice of their application. Federal legislation and the theoretical foundations of the public control are analyzed. Basing on the analysis of the theory and practice and the normative foundations of the public control over the activity of municipal executive organ, the possible ways to improve the public control over the activity of municipal executive organ are suggested.
