To the question of regional policy efficiency assessment (environmental aspect)

The purpose of the article is to define foreground directions of elaboration of regional policy efficiency assessment mechanism with considering modern challenges and priorities of development. Different approaches to the definition, content and structure of regional policy were considered in the article. On the base of accomplished analysis, definition of regional policy was elaborated. Analysis of approaches to the regional policy efficiency assessment was conducted. Influence of environmental factors on the regional policy efficiency was confirmed. Foreground directions of elaboration of regional policy efficiency assessment mechanism were defined, including general and special principles of mechanism functioning, set of elements and stages of functioning of the mechanism.
