On the issue of determining the subject of authorship in respect of works created by artificial intelligence

The article considers the problem of the possibility of endowing artificial intelligence with a legal personality in the field of copyrights. The set of approaches of establishing authorship is determined with respect to objects created by artificial intelligence. Doctrinal positions are identified regarding the regime applicable to such objects. The legal provisions are being suggested to consolidate defining the creator of the program underlying the work of artificial intelligence, as the author of the works created by the artificial intelligence unit.
