Optimizing the activities of the duty shift of the duty unit for receiving and registering applications and reports on crimes, administrative offenses and incidents

The article deals with topical issues affecting the daily activities of employees of duty units of territorial internal affairs bodies, in terms of receiving and registering messages and statements about crimes, administrative offenses and incidents. The authors conducted an analysis of the current provisions of regulatory legal acts that determine the scope and procedure for performing the duties of the duty shift to work with messages and statements. Based on the results obtained, conclusions are drawn about the current situation in the direction of accounting and registration activities of internal affairs bodies, optimization options are proposed.
