Additions to the problem of peculiarities of the ideological education in military forces of imperial Japan 1868-1945

Those, who struggle against Japanese military forces during WWII battles, remember Japanese soldiers as strong, cruel and brave warriors. Allies's actions against them took maximum of bravery, mental strength and military skills from Russian, Chinese, US and European soldiers. Even being surrounded, being in their final position, Japanese soldiers and officers kept fighting until the end against powerful enemy. Such qualities are based on the unique system of ideological education created and improved in IJA and IJN forces during 1868-1945. That ideological system based on the «militaristic culture» cultivated and dominated in imperial Japan. That was a mix of romanticized samurai traditions, latest ideological constructions and innovations in technic and management, have been taken from western countries. The research of system of ideological education of Imperial Japanese militaries, developed between 1868 and 1945, helps us improve our understanding of peculiarities of the society of Imperial Japan, and especially, motivation of it's soldiers's, officers's, civilian's and military and political elite's actions. Our publication provides brief analysis of the main characteristics of ideological education in IJ Forces and the processes of it's development.
