On the issue of the specifics of execution deprivation of liberty in relation to patients socially significant diseases

The article discusses the features of the execution of sentences in relation to convicts with socially significant diseases. Based on the analysis, the authors drew conclusions. Timely diagnosis and treatment control of sanitary and epidemiological treatment of premises in the institution and the establishment of psychological contact with this category of convicts can increase the effectiveness of prevention. Monitoring will reveal the existing problems in the provision of medical care in places of deprivation of liberty. In order to increase the effectiveness of the execution of sentences in relation to convicts with socially significant diseases, it is necessary to create a unified federal system for registering released persons in this category in order to ensure the timely transmission of information throughout the country.
