The article deals with the implementation of municipal control over the use of land intended for individual housing construction. The problem of observance by citizens of land legislation regarding the careful treatment of land plots that relate to the lands of individual housing construction is shown. In addition, an analysis of the system of control over the owners-citizens for the preservation of the quality of the earth as a natural resource was carried out.
