About relation of population to the long-term savings

This article describes results of sociological study on identification of the reasons why population of Russia does not make long-terms savings (including pension). According to the respondents the main reason is distrust to the government, which, in their opinion, can not provide safety of the capital. According to them, the only useful way of saving money is investment in the purchase of city apartment. However most people do not have funds for such investment. Part of people who do have such funds, think that such investments should be made not in Russia, but in countries abroad (Turkey, Spain, Czech Republic etc.)
