On the question of the participation of the prosecutor in criminal proceedings

Within the framework of this article, topical issues related to the activities of the prosecutor for the judicial review of crimes are considered. The article examined and analyzed the historical aspects of prosecutorial activity in criminal proceedings, revealed the concept of a prosecutor as a participant in criminal proceedings. Special attention is paid to the study of the powers of the prosecutor within the limits of participation in the trial. The main idea is the idea of a comprehensive and detailed study of the essence and features of the participation of the public prosecutor in the criminal process of the Russian Federation, identifying the actual problems of the prosecutor's participation in criminal proceedings. The research is based on the analysis of Russian legislation, Resolutions of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, and other materials of judicial practice.
