The article considers specific features of crimes involving environmental pollution. Proposals for optimisation of the legislative description of compounds associated with environmental pollution. In this article, we have analyzed the Chapter 26 of the criminal code, found gaps and proposed solutions to them. Also, justifies the proposal to Supplement the Criminal code norms on toughening responsibility for environmental crimes.
