To the question of sustainable development of the region on the basis of activation of the innovation component

The article examines the provisions that determine the importance and urgency of the issues of formation of innovative system of the region. The region as a reproductive system is influenced by different factors, a balance which lies at the Foundation of sustainable development. In terms of the need of transformation of domestic resource economy into innovative highly competitive component is of particular importance as a factor ensuring sustainable development. Ideas and knowledge that underlie the process of development should be played, ie to grow with new ideas and new knowledge, the implementation of which in practice leads to faster growth opportunities, and, consequently, to the acceleration of the development process. The mechanism of recycling (implementation) of ideas should provide an innovative component of the sustainable development in the innovation system. The main problem of formation of regional innovation system is the lack of methodological elaboration of its elements, the absence of a clear strategy of innovation for socio-economic development.
