In the article it is proposed to apply the classical concept of "effectiveness" as an attitude of the result of the activity - knowledge of students, to the costs - to the knowledge of teachers, ensuring its receipt for the evaluation of the level of academic work of teachers of technical universities. When assessing the quality of education graduates are invited to take into account the results of training and labor potential - training and work activity. With the help of the proposed methods, the objectivity of assessing the quality of education of graduates of technical universities will be increased. This will allow, if necessary, to promptly make changes in the organization of the educational process and the content of the curriculum, in the content and technology of the teachers' professional development, which, in complex, will contribute to the increase in the level of demand for graduates of the university in the labor market.
