On the issue of improving the efficiency of inventory management

The article deals with the problem of adapting the inventory management system to modern working conditions. The authors present the results of a study of methods for analyzing sales data in order to process and apply them to solve problems of optimizing inventory. The developed inventory management methodology is based on the application of cluster analysis of sales data using the tools of enterprise information systems.
