To the issue of legal regulation of traditional medicine in Uzbekistan

The paper regards the peculiarities of the legal regulation of traditional medicine in Uzbekistan. Shown the unresolved problems and the ways of their solving. To date, it is urgent to adopt a “specialized law regulating the activities of traditional medicine and healing”. In this legislative act, in addition to the mandatory consolidation of scientific substantiated concepts of healing and traditional medicine, it is necessary to single out the categories of such healers and introduce the designation of the activity they are engaged in. This should be done in order to separate specialists in the field of traditional medicine from magicians, sorcerers and other people who practice questionable methods of influencing people not for the purpose of healing In conclusion, it is concluded that traditional medicine should receive additional benefits for cooperation in the health system and the exchange of information at the international level.
