The question of production culture of the Krasnodar territory enterprises in the 1950s

The author examines the level of the national production culture development, which was formed in the 1950s. The typical characteristics of the results of material production as the most important elements of production culture are revealed on the example of the work of the Krasnodar Territory industrial enterprises. Previously unpublished archival materials are introduced into scientific circulation. This allows us to carry out the reconstruction of a part of the Soviet enterprises production culture, to correct the idea of the unconditionally high quality of Soviet products. The relationship between material culture, the ways of organizing economic and economic activities in the conditions of a planned socialist economy, and the spiritual and ideological component of Soviet culture is established. Based on the qualitative characteristics of the industrial production results, conclusions are drawn about the extremely low level of the production culture development in the first post-war decade. Its condition was determined by insufficient technical equipment of enterprises, far from perfect organization of the labor process, low skilled workers, low quality of the work results, a focus on inflated targets execution.
