In a scientific article, the author investigated the organizational aspects of the search for stolen and stolen vehicles. The main directions and forms of work on the implementation of the establishment of a wanted vehicle are defined. The main causes of thefts and hijackings of vehicles, as well as measures to improve the direction of activity under consideration are formulated.
